Understanding Workplace Violence & Harassment
In any workplace, there can be no room for violence and harassment. There is a lot of work to be done to make this a reality, and this course aims to give you the tools to champion a safe and inclusive workplace.
Course Overview
This course will equip you with the knowledge you need to foster a safe, secure, and peaceful working environment. You will learn about key policies and procedures, the underlying causes of workplace violence, and effective strategies to mitigate the risk through best practices.
What you'll learn
This course is made up of four units:
- How to contribute to a positive and safe working environment
- How to reduce and effectively deal with violence in the workplace
- Understanding aggression, bullying and harassment in the workplace and how it can be prevented
- Understanding equality, diversity and inclusion in the workplace and the benefits to individuals and organisations
Eligibility Criteria
- You must currently live in England
- You must have been resident in the UK/EU for 3+ years, for purposes other than study
- You must be over the age of 19
- You must not be on an apprenticeship
There is a £125 cancellation fee if you enrol and do not complete or withdraw from the course. This fee is to cover administration costs.

This course is funded by the government's Adult Education Budget, which means you may be able to study for free.

The duration of this course is seven weeks.
